Victoria Barker is a piano teacher currently residing in Cloverdale. She began taking lessons at seven years old, but had a strong passion for the piano from a much earlier age. Over the years, Victoria has taken her Grade 8 Piano Exam through the British Columbia Conservatory of Music and her Advanced Rudiments, Harmony, History, and Elementary Pedagogy Exam (both aural and written) through the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Victoria has had the experience of teaching students of many ages over the years. Some of these include preschoolers, elementary aged students, teenagers, adults, and seniors. It is her philosophy that no one is too old or too young to learn to play!
Throughout the years, Victoria has actively participated in various performances such as recitals, mall events, workshops, and weddings. One of her fondest memories is arranging music and working with other instrumentalists for a soirée (night of music).
In her spare time, Victoria enjoys coaching a 10 year-old girls soccer team, baking delicious treats for her friends and family, and actively pursuing her love of the piano.
